YWCA Evansville is on a mission!

Mentoring, Racial Justice, YWCA Evansville

We provide the compassion and services our residents and students desperately need to place them on a path to self-sufficiency and upward mobility.

Our vision is that all individuals and youth can achieve their full potential.

This requires a focus on the future, anticipating the needs of our clients, and creating innovative solutions to the problems they most often face – poverty, unsafe living conditions, lack of reliable and affordable childcare, and under- or unemployment.

We are evolving our services to meet the changing needs of our clients today and in the future.

We remain rooted in rich history, but our approach to serving our clients is holistic, strategic and innovative.

Our programs focus on upward mobility and self-sufficiency through addressing emergency needs first, determining barriers to independence, helping clients create goals to overcome those barriers, providing support and case management through times of crisis and transition, and connecting clients to community resources that can maximize their success.

Through our programs, we are changing lives and restoring hope for individuals, their families, and our community!

Unleashing Youth Potential

The Live Y’ers program equips youth to reach their full potential through quality after school programming, mentoring relationships, and leadership development opportunities.
