Domestic Violence Awareness Press Conference and Proclamation
Join us at our annual Domestic Violence Awareness Month press conference to kick off the YWCA USA Week Without Violence. This important gathering brings together community partners, law enforcement, and victim services providers to stand united in raising awareness and promoting action to end domestic violence in our community. This year, we are honored to welcome Evansville Mayor Stephanie Terry, who will present the official Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclamation, underscoring our shared commitment to supporting survivors and ending violence in all forms. The program will also feature brief remarks from local leaders and an opportunity for community partners to connect and share resources.
To visually demonstrate our solidarity, we encourage all attendees to wear purple, the recognized color of domestic violence awareness.
