YWCA Evansville accepts gifts by cash, check and credit card. You may elect to make a one-time gift or a recurring gift.
Online donations – To donate online, click here! Your gift will be processed instantly via a secure online connection. You can also set up recurring gifts to allow you to divide your gift into monthly or annual installments.
Whether tickets to events, gently used women’s and children’s clothing, bedding or other household items, our programs welcome your in-kind donations.
Honor someone special with a gift in their name or memory. An acknowledgement letter will be sent to the individual or their family.
Stocks and Securities
The transfer of securities directly to the YWCA generally qualifies the donor for a tax deduction equal to the full market value of the stock and eliminates the need to pay capital gains taxes on the appreciated value since purchase. For tax advice
regarding a transfer, please consult with your tax professional.
Your dollars go even further with a matching gift. Many companies sponsor matching gift programs to encourage employees to support their community. Most companies match dollar for dollar, and some double or triple match gifts!

A Planned Giving Society of the YWCA of Evansville
Welcoming documented planned gifts in the form of bequests, life insurance, trusts, securities and property, our Friends Forever program helps donors leave a lasting legacy to the women, children, and families we serve.
The Berkley Ann Branson Young Women of Promise Scholarship fund was established in memory of Berkley Ann Branson, a 2000 YWCA Tribute to Achievement honoree. Since 2002, the YWCA has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships to 68 graduating Live Y’ers as well as 53 continuing scholarships. You can help secure a future for a young woman by supporting the YWCA in the effort of empowering women. A named scholarship may be created by a donor or group of donors. Named scholarships provide donors the opportunity to establish a scholarship in their name or in honor/memory of a loved one.
We value the gift of your time and have many opportunities for both individuals and groups. To learn about volunteer opportunities please give us a call at 812-422-1191 to discuss what volunteer opportunity might be right for you.
