Located at Second and Vine Streets in downtown Evansville, the YWCA building, erected in 1924, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The YWCA's facilities open to the public include a beautifully furnished parlor, meeting rooms, and a spacious gym available for rental, and the Tea Room.

The gymnasium at the YWCA can be rented at a rate of $25 per two hour period. The gym has a wooden floor and is not regulation size.

Meeting rooms are free for groups who order lunch from the Tea Room; otherwise, rental fees apply. For more information, call 422-1191.

The Tea Room serves lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a daily special offered along with the regular menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts. The Tea Room's signature herb chicken salad and delicious homemade pumpkin rolls, pies, cakes, and cookies can all be ordered for your entertaining needs.
